Ideas of craft, revelation and transparency informed the spatial design of an exhibition for online design curators, In The Window. The space houses a showcase of work by a number of ‘window keepers’, including designer and craftsman Daniel Heath, who ran a live screen-printing workshop at the event at Top Drawer, Olympia.

The space took shape as a lightweight, handmade timber and aluminium structure, proportionally based on the industry standard width of wallpaper, 540mm. The intricate construction is based on simple joinery techniques, employing repetitive elements to create a well-defined, yet open arena.

Design, production and installation by Jardine Couture.
