Thursday, September 15th, 2011

Forgotten Spaces, a competition set up by the Royal Institute of British Architects, has opened a showcase of entries at Somerset House.

Jardine Couture Retail Interiors worked alongside London agency, Campaign, to implement the exhibition which highlights a broad range of regeneration proposals by designers & architects.

The show itself is housed in one of London’s forgotten spaces - the lightwells and deadspace at the back of Somerset House; a dramatic series of spaces, where the work is beatifully lit by a specialist lighting system, provided by XAL lighting.

The exhibition runs until the end of January 2012.

Velorution, London

Thursday, September 1st, 2011

Premium bicycle purveyors, Velorution, relocated this month to a new larger retail space on Great Portland Street.

Jardine Couture Retail Interiors were brought in to project manage and help implement the overhaul from tired office space, to eye-catching retail space.

Working with product designer Henny van Nistelrooy of Studio HNV, the new interior provides a bright, spacious showcase of bikes and accessories.

Custom-designed for the store, Studio HNV’s beautiful and flexible modular shelving system proved such a success, it is now available as an off-the-shelf product. The ‘Revolver’ system is part of a range of furniture manufactured through Jardine Couture for Velorution, including bespoke point of sale and storage units and sales counters.
